Invite a speaker

Invite us to speak to your church, group or organization regarding a wide variety of topics related to our work, or invite us to lead your regular worship service as pulpit supply; we have several ordained ministers on our staff.

Our speakers can present a program on our services, on the social issues that necessitate the existence of a Children's Home, or on ways one could help. The following speakers are available::

Julie Boyd
Vice President for Development & Communications

One of her speaking tools is ventriloquism; she can perform with "B.C. Homes" and "Miss Mildred," characters that come to life with Julie's helping hand. The three of them share thoughts and opinions that inform, inspire and amuse people of all ages. B.C and Mildred talk about the Children's Homes, of course, the church and their Creator.

Julie also speaks without the help of her "friends."  She is often featured at a variety of events for all ages including: women's ministry, senior adults, children, youth, family and church wide programs.  Julie earned a bachelor's degree from William Carey University and a masters degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
